Sunday Collector confetti wall 1-year-old bedroom
Interior stylist and props buyer Briar Stanley from Sunday Collector knows a thing or two about putting together gorgeous, livable rooms. I'm thrilled to share with you the nursery that Briar created for her one-year-old daughter Sunday. It's an amazing space and I'm super-inspired by the amount of DIY, upcycling, vintage and handmade items that Briar mixes with a few modern designer pieces.
Briar was inspired by Beci Orpin's book Find and Keep (see my review of the launch here) to create a gorgeous confetti wall for Sunday's bedroom. You can also see a similar confetti wall looking amazing at Danielle Trovato's daughter's party right here on Bondville. It's an instant celebration in Sunday's room!

I also love the use of the chalkboard and bold grey walls which are a refreshing change from white! The grey colour (Taubmans Inverness) allows the colours in the room to really pop.Briar was inspired by Beci Orpin's book Find and Keep (see my review of the launch here) to create a gorgeous confetti wall for Sunday's bedroom. Kate Lauren Designs timeless bedding and decor for babies, kids and teens
If you love an elegant, timeless look, and you're tired of the department store and chain store bedding and decor for kids, you just might fall in love with the co-ordinating collections of Kate Lauren Designs.
Based in Brisbane, mother-of-three Julie Parianos has designed a truly beautiful collection of co-ordinating bedding and room decor for babies, children and teenagers.
Each collection is named after one of Julie's children or their friends and includes cot, single and king-size single bedding, blankets, cushions, and lampshades. There is also wall decor, bunting, furniture (gorgeous Moroccan pouffes) and a range of fabric lanterns to mix-and-match.
I am so taken with the Zachary Hunter grey chevron bedding and co-ordinating decor. It's a beautiful and well-thought-through range that will easily take a child through the teenage years. My daughter has tough-to-match mint green walls in her bedroom, and I'm also thinking that the Charlotte Paige set with the blue and grey stripes and spots on white would work well. What are you favourites?
You can find Kate Lauren Designs in the online store as well as stockists across Australia.

Kids Room Ideas: Eulalie's Nursery
Today's beautiful room tour comes to you from North Queensland where stylist Claire (of one claire day) has created a magical nursery for her daughter Eulalie. I love the Turkish caravan feel of Eulalie's room, including ride-on camel! There are so many gorgeous DIY ideas here, from an amazing small owl mural-turned-framed-art to simply changing the hardware on an IKEA chest of drawers. Claire's room inspiration started with the divine vintage green drawers and evolved slowly as she filled the room with things she loves. So inspiring.

Kids Room Ideas: Miles' Nursery
Would you like to take a sneak peek into a real Australian kids room? Miles is the lucky young owner of this gorgeous room. His Mum Lyndall put much love and thought into the design, incorporating sweet bees with the blue and red colour palette. Thank you Lyndall for the generous information on the details of the room. I'm totally in love with it. These beautiful photos were taken by Jess from Joyess Images; enjoy!

The Lowercase Bed Linen for kids

I had a lovely morning at The Finders Keepers market at the Carriageworks in Sydney this morning - finding beautiful products with my friend Jamie who has been visiting from the US, catching up with old friends (hi Alischa, Sarah and Kylie!) and being a fangirl, meeting some of my favourite artists (yes that's you Catherine and Cat!).
One product I had to share with you is the lovely bed linen for kids by Sydney husband-and-wife team The Lowercase. These guys have their finger on the button and create really interesting room decor and paper products products as well as distribute all manner of goodies including Heico lamps, Little Lamb freckle rugs and blabla cushions.
It's the bed linen that really caught my eye. It's original, interesting, cool, and great to touch with embroidery on 100% cotton. Designs include swans, foxes and tigers, making them great for both boys' and girls' rooms.
You can find The Lowercase bed linen and other goodies in the online store as well as at stockists across Australia and New Zealand.

Made By Mosey nursery decor
I first noticed these gorgeous Made By Mosey decor and nursery products for kids in my friend Kim's online store, and was impressed both with the design and care that has been put into these pieces.
The range includes beautiful baby quilts made from handkerchiefs (do you still have yourse?), mobiles suspended from white painted twigs, and vintage fabric bunting. I love that the mobiles in particular are great for both boy and girl rooms, and I don't think I've ever seen a cooler baby quilt for boys! Lovely work.

Hip Products: Puka Puka mobiles and jewellery

I met Nina Still from Puka Puka at the recent Sydney ABCD Meetup and just had to share with you her gorgeous contemporary mobiles for both adults spaces and for kids' rooms. These pieces are more than just hanging distractions for baby; these are works of art.
Inspired by the landscape around her, Nina makes one-of-a-kind elegant mobiles by hand using non-toxic recyclable polypropylene shapes, wool felt, plywood, nylon thread and polished stainless steel wire. Her hope is that her pieces will bring a sense of peace and tranquility to their owners (both big and small!).
The name Puka Puka comes from the Japanese term "an object floating gently in space". Isn't that lovely. Nina is not just talented, but clever too. Her Blossom baby mobile is designed so that your baby can view the whole mobile from below (so sensible).

When you see Nina's sculptural forms combined with clever colour combinations, it's not surprising to find out that she has studied architecture, printmaking and jewellery. In fact, Nina has also created a gorgeous collection of jewellery made using ceramics and felt that are equally as stylish.
You can find Puka Puka mobiles in the online store, on etsy, as well as stockists across Australian, NZ, Switzerland and the US. You can also customise a mobile to suit your space. Pop over and say Hi to Nina on the Puka Puka blog (let her know I sent you).

Bondville Big Girls' Bed

My big girl Sophie scored big at Christmas this year. First of all, I just have to gush about the incredible quilt that she received from Nanna. It's a custom-made quilt by Vicki Anderson-Bain (a friend of Nanna's) on the Sunshine Coast, integrating a gorgeous Kristen Doran Matryoshka Doll craft panel and the border of Red Letter Day fabric by Lizzy House. We gave Vicki a colour palette and she went to town creating this incredible piece. We'll treasure it forever. Then there was the sweet Sophie wall art canvas that arrived from Mooo.com.au as part of a sample of products. Thank you Mooo! It fits amazingly well in her room. The wall art pieces are just a small selection of personalised products from Mooo including stickers, t-shirts, backpacks, invitations, announcements, and a whole host of other stylish goods.
And of course the favourite toy of the moment, Ruby Red Shoes, who arrived from dear Kate Knapp, the artist behind the adorable world of Twigseeds. Ruby is the real-life incarnation of Kate's drawings and is such a sassy addition to the room.
Oh, and the tissue paper poms are the leftovers that I made for Sophie's 2nd birthday party. I simply attached them to her bedroom ceiling with 3M Command sticky hooks. What a lovely sight to fall asleep to.
Thank you so much Nanna, Vicki, Mooo and Kate for all the lovely gifts.
