Michelle Atzemis of MeWe creates beautiful handcrafted family trees that are gorgeous displayed in a nursery or child's bedroom. Actually, as these pics show, this heirloom piece would look great in any room. Here are some beautiful images styled and shot by Nicola of Concrete + Honey.

Each family tree is individually cut from remnant papers, personalised with family names, and sewn by hand. Different colour combinations are available and no two are the same.

Australian company TinyMe are well-known for their cute personalised stickers and products for kids, and are working on the production of this cool-looking wooden name puzzle.

Made By Mosey's handmade rainbow dreamer mobile

I'm so taken with this mobile - reminiscent of a dreamcatcher don't you think? - by Madeleine Sargent from Made by Mosey. Each mobile features colourful wooden beads and those stunning patchwork feathers, made by hand. I can only imagine that they take an age to create. There are all sorts of colours in the Made by Mosey online store, but this rainbow mobile has my heart. Do you have a favourite?

Tiges and Weince Christmas stockings and goodies

I kept meaning to make amazing Christmas stockings for the girls last year and of course never got around to it, so they went without (sad face) and instead enjoyed their enormous mountain of gifts. What I should have done is just order one of these beauties from Tiges and Weince.

Drool-worthy Design: My Sweet Prints

Well I'm going let you in on a big secret. I've been keeping this to myself for a while now, but it's time to share. This is my favourite no-fail, go-to destination for newborn gifts.... My Sweet Prints.

My Sweet Prints is a range of clever art prints designed by Sydney graphic designer and illustrator Janette Baker. The collection includes ready-made prints such as the bus roll spoof Bedtime Bus Roll, Family Rules, the meaning of LOVE and other sweet sentiments for the home.

If you'd like something a little more personal, you can contract Janette's graphic design skills to customise both text and colours for lovely modern birth prints. Try as I may to find a different newborn gift for each new baby born to friends, I keep going back to the My Sweet Prints range. (Anne, pressie for baby Max is on its way!).

Stylish Kids: Little Lamb children's jewellery
