Super-cute oversized tote bags from Project Ten
Oh genius. You know those ugly IKEA bags that you use all the time because they are huge and tough and have double straps and hold everything? Well Jacquie from North Geelong-based Project Ten has created a super-cute version that I know you will love.

Bo Ho Jo Interiors eclectic girl's nursery
Sami from Bo Ho Jo Interiors is an interior stylist specialising in childrens' rooms, and shares with us today the amazing eclectic nursery of her own gorgeous 16 month old daughter Bo. It's filled with a mix of bohemian textiles, vintage pieces and muted colours with a global vibe. I am a complete sucker for the wooden flamingo child's chair. And wait until you see the leather change table! So inspired. Thanks Sami for sharing with us Bo's room and all your tips and sources...

Lumiere Art and Co pillowcases, art and homewares
I totally love these Mandala pillowcases that I spotted on my friend Gemma's bed, on Instagram today. They are part of the Lace Mandala Sries by Victorian-based Lumiere Art & Co., relief-printed by direct contact with a raised object. So pretty for a girl's bed.
Gemma chose a neon orange Mandala pillowcase and teamed it up with Rachel Castle's fluoro orange spot flat sheet - genius.
I also discovered some beautiful Lumiere Art & Co. ice-dyed throws/tablecloths at a cute store (The Romantics) at Peregian Beach, QLD, recently. To create the marbled look, the fabrics are individually layered with dye and ice. It's this interesting artistry that sets these homewares apart and makes each piece unique.
I also couldn't resist this linen bucket from the Lumiere Art & Co. online store. Perfect for my African Violet:
You can find these homewares and more as well as beautiful artwork in the Lumiere Art & Co. online store and stockists across Australia, New Zealand and online.

Master and Miss super-cool organic children's clothing
Every now and then an Australian children's label pops up that just stops me in my tracks. Do you remember the grey marle and bronze wolf hoodie in yesterday's Rustic Roots editorial on Bondville? It is part of a collection by Victorian-based Master and Miss - the brainchild of creative director Liane Shannon. Liane designs clothes for kids from newborn to age 10 that are vibrant, cool and 100% organic.
The newborn collection is hip too with geo shapes and bright colours that are perfect gifts for baby:
And this is my very favourite piece from the current collection - the sweetest limited edition Sophie teacup dress, on super-comfy organic jersery cotton. Team with contrasting leggings for the perfect outfit for afternoon tea, and play at the park afterwards. This one is hot! (and currently on sale!)
You can find Master and Miss in the online store and stockists across Australia, Singapore, Dubai and online. Watch this space for more gorgeous designs from Liane!

Ruby's 3rd Rainbow Confetti Birthday Party
I really connect with Photographer Danielle Trovato's sense of style and love her use of colour and clean, simple design. I've featured her daughter Ruby's bedroom here on Bondville before and it is still one of my favourites. So of course I asked Danielle if she would share some tips the effortlessly chic 3rd birthday party that she put together for Ruby. I love that it's not too fussy or complicated, with the focus on the amazing cake and the feature wall inspired by Beci Orpin's crafty-cool Find & Keep book. Happy birthday Ruby!
Organised by: Photographer Danielle Trovato (Ruby's mum!)
Location: At Home (Mt Martha, Mornington Peninsula, VIC)

And lucky for us - Laura has made beautiful prints of some of her pieces for us to own too!

Inaluxe for Earth Greetings stationery
Oh what a beautiful marriage: the distinctively cool illustrations of two of my all-time favourite Australian artists - Kristina Sostarko and Jason Odd from Inaluxe - and the eco-friendly goodness of the Earth Greetings stationery company. This perfect collaboration features stylized Australian native birds and flora adorning greeting cards and wrapping paper. This is so completely up my alley, I can hardly stand it...
Among the designs you will find wildflowers, and native birds such as the Kookaburra, Leser Sooty Owl, Owlet Nightjar, WhiteBreasted Whistler and a pair of fantastic Gang Gang Cockatoos. The wrapping paper and greeting cards are made carbon neutrally in Australia, from luxuriously thick 100% post-consumer waste card, printed with vegetable-based ink and the cards are paired with a recycled envelope
Get the whole collection quick sticks, frame it, and adorn your walls with mid-century modern-inspired amazingness, Aussie-style. (I know, I'm excited).
You can find Inaluxe for Earth Greetings stationery products in the Earth Greetings online store as well as stockists around Australia and New Zealand. Read more about Inaluxe here on Bondville and Earth Greetings right here.

Emily Green accessories and artwork
When Nicola rocked a fabulous polymer clay necklace at our abcd soiree, I went into investigation mode to hunt down the designer behind the baubles. Behold the goodness of Melbourne-based Emily Green!
Emily hand-makes these great necklaces and earrings, dreamy watercolour artworks and cool brooches. Emily's work is so spot-on with current fashion and design trends - her work is much-loved on Pinterest. Don't those necklaces look practically edible. More Mother's Day fodder right here! You can send this post directly to Mr Bondville.
You can find Emily Green's work in her online store, as well as stockists (check the website) across Australia (and L.A.) and online.

Party Ideas: Little Red Riding Hood Birthday Party
Lucky 3-year-old Annabell took her friends down to the woods for an enchanting birthday party, organised by Kiss Me Kate Events. There are so many fun elements to this party - I adore those little lamington-topped mushrooms and the macarons that could pass for fungi!
Birthday: 3 year old girl's birthday party for Annabell.
Organised by: Kiss Me Kate Events.
Location: The party was held in parkland area in the suburb of Balwyn, Melbourne.
Theme: Enchanted Forest (Red Riding Hood Inspired) - a themed party package from Kiss Me Kate Events.
Invitation: Created by Andersruff Custom designs.
Cake: The birthday cake was designed and baked by Kate Brown of Kiss Me Kate Events. The icing was made from a meringue frosting which gave the cake a lucious texture. The cake was decorated with edible toad stools and butteflies.
Party food: The cookies, cupcakes, jam tarts were baked by Kate Brown of Kiss Me Kate Events. The remaining dessert items which included personalised chocolate bars, personalised fruit pop drink bottles, bite size lamington fingers, macarons, mushroom meringues and assorted candy were sourced and styled by Yolanda Cerra, stylist for Kiss Me Kate Events.
Decorations: The printables include a personalised welcome party sign, bunting, and food labels, created by Andersruff Custom Designs. Other decorative items include wood stumps and glass cloche bells. Sliced wood blocks were used as serving platters. A wooden basket was used to house the assorted candy jars and pine cones, faux apples and a scattering of paper flowers were used to bring a touch of forest floor coverings to the dessert table.
Tips: Annabell's parents wanted the party outdoors and in a setting that felt like you were in the forest. They chose a parkland area in their neighbourhood of Balwyn, VIC to set up the dessert table and the children had plenty of space to run around and have fun.
Something Special: Although it was not a costume party, little Annabell looked adorable in her little red riding hood cape and really enjoyed being in character for the afternoon.

Morgan Wills vintage kitsch cushions
Oh how I love Australiana. And the more kitsch, the better, in my opinion. These totally cute cushions came across my desk today from The Crafty Squirrel studio and store owner Morgan Wills.
These cushions are fashioned from vintage linen souvenir tea towels collected by Morgan. They are backed with matching wool cashmere fabrics and three linen-covered buttons. Each cushion comes with a custom-made feather and fibre insert.
You can find them at The Crafty Squirrel in Ballart or the Morgan Wills online store. These cushions are one-of-a-kind and a limited batch so you'll have to get in quick sticks! (while you are there, check out the baby bunny blankets - very cool).

Australian Artist Spotlight: Lilly Piri

A few years ago I clipped an ad from a magazine that was designed to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. The artwork featured the gorgeous artwork of Lilly Piri - a lion and a little lamb (see image above) and I kept it for a long time on my inspiration board. And then recently I was reminded of Lilly's talent from her contribution to the Art 4 Heart QLD Flood fundraiser. Time to share with you all I think!
Based in Heidelberg, Victoria, Lilly Piri creates whimsical scenes using coloured pencils, oils and sculpture. You might recognise her work from magazines and the yearly Frankie calendar where her illustrations are published. On Lilly's website you will find links to her original art, iPod, iPhone and laptop skins (yes please!), t-shirts, notepads, cards and other goodies.
I love Lilly's mysterious characters with their expressionless faces and soulful eyes. And I especially love her judicious use of pandas and Australian animals (bilbies! quolls! koalas!); I'd love to visit her magical world where native animals abound for cuddles and play.
You can find Lilly Piri art and commissions in the online store, on Etsy, Lamington Drive and Thinkspace Gallery (US).

Drool-worthy Design: Sophie Milne
I'm really quite excited by Victoria-based Sophie Milne's ceramics. They are modern and delicate and I see flickers of nature in all of them - a river stone here, a perfect pile of twigs there, a slate blue storm cloud-filled sky, a granite outcrop, a rusty-hued termite mound.I'm particularly taken with the refreshment set which has multiple possibilities for function and display (for tea, for flowers, for breakfast, for jewellery!). And the stone vessels (pictured) are utterly delightful.
Now is great time to pick up one of Sophie's pieces as her star is soaring; even since I have discovered her work, she has been profiled by Natalie at Daily Imprint, and featured on Modamuse. You can find a list of Australian stockists on her Website (and you can buy online from Moose who ships internationally), and find out more about her work on her thoughtful blog Six Hundred Degrees.
