Such Great Heights new home decor, women's and girl's clothes

Such Great Heights dominated the cool kids' interiors scene in Australia with the original a-frame Wonder Tent play tent (which has been copied left, right, and centre) that converts into a simple and chic clothes stand. The family has since moved to New York City where they have landed with a splash launching new tent designs, home decor and all-new gorgeous clothing for women and girls in collaboration with some amazing artists! Kill me now!

Laura Blythman kidswear

Laura Blythman is without a doubt one of my favourite Australian artists and is super-clever to boot with partnerships with all sorts of Australian makers. One of my favourite collaborations is the kidswear (and cushions, and tea towels, and adult tees!) with The Club of Odd Volumes. So many cute pieces of art ready to wear:

Grace's pretty pastel girl's bedroom

I don't know about you, but my girls are just drawn to pastel colours, pinks and yellows. I promise it's not forced on them - I'm always presenting them with cool grey, black, monotone and darker colours - but they just can't get enough of a candy-sweet palette. (also, they would have floral everything - yikes!)

Tara Chadwick's daughter also loves softer colours and this Mum has done an amazing job of curating a room full of lovely girly touches without being cloying. The pastel palette with bright yellow against a white/neutral background is a real winner. Tara kindly shares some of her advice on creating a lovely room just like this.

Georgia's mint, pink and gold bedroom

My daughter has mint-painted walls in her bedroom and I tell you, it has not been an easy task for me to pull together her room. Luckily, I can take inspiration from Sydney children's interior designer Kate Sparks of Little Dwellings who shares her daughter Georgia's room, below. Kate makes mint sing - in fact, the room would not be nearly as cute with white walls.

I had coffee with Kate yesterday to chat through how she put this room together and she is not just clever and stylish, but the sweetest person you can imagine too! She very generously shared lots of information about her daughter's room - so many pieces are designed and made in Australia. Let's have a good look:

The Third Row online shopping collaboration

I've been collaborating for some time with online shopping hub, The Third Row, to curate a Bondville-style "popup" - featuring products from some of my favourite independent Australian designers for Mum, Kids and Home.

The Third Row is such a cool concept. The site showcases products that have been featured by blogs and magazines with links through to each of the designers to purchase (all proceeds go directly to the makers). Links and quotes from related posts are displayed alongside products, so shoppers can see what the bloggers and magazine writers have said about each store. It's a great way to encourage people to buy Australian-made, directly from the makers.

The Bondville popup includes almost 1,000 products which can be refined by category, price and what's on sale. Laura Blythman art prints - love, lyrics, neon

I follow Laura Blythman on Instagram (oh how I love thee IG creative community!) which is where I drooled over her artwork for her Love, Lyrics, Neon exhibition at The Kaleidescope Gallery in Geelong until 23rd January 2013. And lucky for us - Laura has made beautiful prints of some of her pieces for us to own too!
