One of my favourite Australian online stores (with retail stores in Brisbane too!) is Biome Eco Stores, and I quite often flick over to see what new goodies have arrived. I'm glad I do, as I have fallen hard for Inkkas - fun, fair trade shoes handcrafted by local artisans in Peru using traditional fabric designs and patterns. How great are they!

Kids art therapy fundraiser - Gorman sneaker collab with Australian creatives
Are you ready? The fabulous folks at Gorman are auctioning 21 Adventure Sneakers personalised by some of my favourite artists, designers, and creatives including Aussies Miranda Skoczek, Beci Orpin, Madeleine Stamer, Rachel Castle Kat McLeod, Dawn Tan, Ellie Malin, Hungry Workshop, Marsha Golemac, Kate Tucker, Megan Morton, and more. How can you even choose?
The customised sneakers will be auctioned to raise money for kid's art therapy school, Little Seeds Big Trees. In addition, Gorman will be chipping in $20 from each sale of the standard Adventure Sneakers.
You can bid on your favourite sneaker on the Gorman eBay page until 7th June 2013. How wonderful that all those creatives have spent time and effort to create these amazing wearable art pieces for kids art therapy. Head to Gorman to start bidding. Good luck! And let me know if you score one of the sneakers!

I'm selling these Marc Jacobs heels - with charms!
Last shoes for sale - promise! I'm sad to say good-bye to these very special Marc Jacobs shoes that I bought when were were living in New York City. Ther are strappy heels in tan leather with the cutest MJ charms - look great with jeans and frocks; bit perfect for Spring Racing too. They are a size US 8 which are a little too small for me (I'm an Australian size 8 - these shoes are more like 7.5 Australian). I only wore them twice. Get yourself a major bargain over on eBay.

Kate Spade NY and Florence Broadhurst sneakers
I'm reluctantly selling these cute US size 7 Kate Spade New York sneakers with Florence Broadhurst cockatoo design. I'm a size 8 and they are just too small. They are Summer 2012 limited edition and you won't find them in Australia - I had to have them shipped over by family. Brand new with tags in box. Head over to eBay if you're looking for a bargain. Did I mention that they are NEON orange?!?! Wishing them to a loving new home.

Stylish Kids: ScruffyDog shoes

Like many of us, I have a thing for kids shoes. So I was thrilled to be introduced to the super-cool Sydney-based ScruffyDog by my stylish friend Mellissa. Handmade with leather and quality materials, ScruffyDog shoes for children are both fashionable and functional.I'll let the images above speak for themselves.
Oh, and ScruffyDog also has a fantastic recycling program called GreenNous:
"GreenNous is an initiative founded by the people at ScruffyDog with the aim of doing a little bit for the environment by recycling material that would otherwise likely be discarded. We encourage others to think about how the apparently useless stuff they come across on a daily basis might be reused or put to some good use and then turn those thoughts into action. It's all about green nous: commonsense recycling."
You can find ScruffyDog shoes at stockists across Australia and online. Now if only they came in Big Girl sizes!

Flat Vintage Boots
Noho girls have given up the summer cowboy boot trend (it got too mainstream) and are all wearing vintage-style flat boots. The colours are very 80's - tan, grey, rust. The toes are somewhere between round and pointed, and they are unembellished leather or pleather. The coolest styles have a little in-built slouch. Worn of course over skinny jeans and with skirts and tights.
