First stop - the Dyson marquee, where we crafted up and storm threw caution to the wind and chucked glitter all over the carpet. Multiple times. Take that, glitter!
Then we caught up with our friends Anni and Matthew at the Milk & Honey Photography stand, before getting stuck into the serious business of scouting for cool kids' products to share with you.
Freddy Alphabet always draws me in with the graphic shapes and fun designs on prints, tshirts, onesies, bags, cushions and pillowcases:
Toucan had a great selection of digital prints (we took home the pink swan) and I was wowed by the sweet bed linen designs:
I totally fell for the mountain, cloud and house-shaped shelves from Sydney locals Willow & Wood:
We both totally loved the endangered bird (especially the parrot) illustrations at Egg Picnic. Camila is such a talented artist and she and her partner Chris are passionate about conservation. Good people doing very good things:
A lovely surprise at One Fine Baby was discovering local artisans Foolhouse who were showing a really interesting selection of nostalgic products engraved with beautiful illustrations including spoons, cards, amazing keepsake boxes, and fun door jamb height charts:
Another brand that is now hugely on my radar is Sunshine Coast-based Green Cathedral (soon to be opening up shop in Melbourne), who create the most amazing furniture; their Bailey bed was dressed for success with brand new (and hotter-than-hot) bedding label Dazed But Amazed. They have collaborated with artists to create beautiful hand-screenprinted pure linen bedding. It's a match made in heaven:
