Amazing loft bunk bed room for three girls

Introducing the Bondville Instagram #AustralianKidsRoom competition Round One winner - Melissa B's daughters' room featuring this amazing loft bunk bed that Melissa and her husband made themselves. The combination of the soft pastel colours with white and duck-egg blue wall make this a room that little girls dream of.

I spy IKEA spice racks used as book shelves in the loft bed, painted pale pink to match the roof trim, ladder and bedding. And how cute is the ruffled curtain backing on the IKEA play kitchen! The rose cushion also brings in the ruffled style - super sweet.

Play Kitchen: The kitchen was a IKEA one that I painted and added knobs and a ruffle curtain.

The sweet Maileg bunny toys set the tone for the girls' room - pink, blue, floral and a little bit vintage-inspired.

If money/time/space was no object, what would you love to include in this room?

I would love to get them the Pottery Barn Kids kitchen and fridge. I think it would just finish it off nicely.

What is your daughter's favourite part of the room?

Of course their favourite part is the bunk bed - they spend hours in there playing. 

Any tips or tricks that you can share for making a sweet girl's room?

I think lots of soft colours and just having things they like in the room helps create a space they can play , imagine and create.
