Sneak peek: Tickle The Imagination magazine Issue 22: metamorphose

The new year is only 10 days away! As 2016 approaches, many of us are thinking of resolutions. 'Metamorphose' is an apt theme for the brand new Issue 22 of Tickle The Imagination magazine - full of ideas to inspire change and transformation. There are also lots of fun DIY craft ideas for summer holiday fun.

I love the beautiful cover with succulents potted in glass jars, encouraging us to 'turn your recycling into something lovely'; this is just one of the lovely and easy-to-achieve DIY and craft tutorials and other goodies that you'll find in Issue 22. Here are a few more of my favourite articles from this issue.

Tickle The Imagination magazine Kids Issue 21: Sprout

I know I'm biased as it's the Kids Issue, but Issue 21 of Tickle The Imagination magazine is my favourite yet. It's full of ideas for creative kids' bedrooms, study spaces and toy rooms, party ideas, a recipe for healthy doughnuts, DIY craft tutorials for softies and fabric lunch sacks, interviews with creatives and much more. Here's a sneak peek of some of the kids' inspiration in this Australian-published and printed craft and lifestyle magazine:

Exclusive: New KatyJane Designs party stationery

Bondville sponsors and creative gals Katy (in Perth) and Jane (in London) from KatyJane Designs have just released a brand new collection of party stationery themes and designs - first look here on Bondville!

Do you have an April baby? This is a sweet bunny design for a sweet girl. The personalised party collection includes a double-sided invitation with, or without an image of your child, double-sided thank you note, double-sided gift tag, and personalised bunny birthday bunting.

A fun dinosaur theme for boys, this T-Rex knows how to party. The collection is personalised with your child's party details, name and age, and includes double-sided invitation and double-sided gift tags with a fun "chomp" bitten into the side for extra fun.

Whether it's a pool party in your backyard, at the beach, of your local indoor aquatic centre, the Pool Party collection for girls is personalised with your child's party details and includes double-sided invitation, double-sided thank you cards, double-sided gift tags and bunting banner flags.

One thing I like about KatyJane Designs stationery is the attention to detail - the invitations come with magnets and matching envelopes, the thank you cards come with envelopes, the bunting comes with matching ribbon and the gift tags come with elastic cord or ribbon. Katy and Jane are happy to personalise their designs to your event needs, so if it's a bunny party that you'd like to use for a baby shower, simply shoot them a request.

You can find these new KatyJane Designs in the online store.

Delish Ice popsicles

Peach Iced Tea, Coconut, Pineapple and Lime, Lemon and Mint - these and more glorious flavours in an icy popsicle come to you from Perth company Delish Ice. What a fabulous party idea!

Don't they look divine? These popsicle would be perfect for an kind of party, and how amazing for a wedding. In fact, Delish Ice owners also hire out a fun range of vintage and kitsch partyware including some kooky pink flamingos and a gorgeous mini caravan called "Iceblock" for serving the popsicles and other treats. Too much fun.

Katy Jane Designs stationery Christmas 2011

Do you have an advent calendar sorted out yet? Bondville sponsor Katy Jane Designs created a unique badge advent calendar in 2010 and is back this year with versatile and stylish Christmas number stickers to create your own advent calendar.

Fix the stickers to small brown paper bags, coloured envelopes or boxes, slip a little something special inside each, and stack or hang to create a fun treat for each day of December leading up to Christmas.

Katy Jane Designs has also released a new collection of Christmas cards, gift tags, Santas stop here signs, badges, label stickers, and goodies for wrapping including the ever-so-popular twine, kraft bags, pegs and oodles of ribbons.

Pale blue, red and white is my favourite colour palette, and designers Katy and Jane do a fab job of combining blonde wood for a Scandinavian-inspired Christmas style. And did you notice the fun Santa sign? It would go perfectly with a glass of milk and cookies on Christmas Eve for the jolly old fellow.

You can find Perth-based Katy Jane Designs in the online store and at stockists around Australia and online. Read more about Katy Jane Designs here on Bondville.

Stylish Kids: Dear Charlotte, Love Banjo

Another great addition to the old-is-new-again trend in kids fashion design is lovely Perth label Dear Charlotte, Love Banjo that I got to see up-close at Kids In Style last month.

Designers Sally Roberts and Emerald Leach have poured lashings of old-fashioned sweetness into their children's clothes for little boys and girls up to size 1. Just try and resist the cuteness of these rompers, high-waisted shortalls, sunsuits, overalls, divine dresses and bonnets.

The two ranges Everyday Heirlooms and Heirlooms Divine are just that - lovely pieces that will be handed down, and handed down again. You'll never go wrong with the classic styling. My fave? 'Milly Can Fly' high-waisted all-in-one denim and floral shortalls (see pic above).

Oh and yes, I think that might be a real pig in those pics above!

You can find Dear Charlotte, Love Banjo in the online store.

Head over to Bondville Kids for more Australian kids fashion.
