Great-looking Australian beds from Sonno

When you find a smart, stylish bed frame at an affordable price, it's time to get excited. Sonno is an Australian company based in the Hunter Valley, who make robust, quality bed frames, upholsterered in modern fabric and faux leather. What a good-looking bed:

The range includes single, long single, king single, double, queen and king bed frames and headboard upholstered in fabric or faux leather in earthy colours reminiscent of the Australian landscape. As Sonno is an entirely online business, operational costs are kept to a minimum and passed on to customers.

Simply choose a bed size, upholstery material and colour, then expect 1-2 days delivery (!!!) of three flat-packed boxes to assemble. Assembly is fairly straightforward, but there is an online video available for those less familiar with an Allen key. Choose a height level (there is a choice of three), and Bob's Your Uncle - you're ready to go.

For those of you that find bed-making a chore like me, Sonno bed bases have extra space between the mattress and the bed frame making it super-easy to tuck your sheets and quilts for a perfectly made bed.

I also love the angled headboard for comfortable reading in bed (who am I kidding - comfortable browsing), and the contemporary, turned legs. So stylish.

You can find Sonno bed frames in the online store. Prices start from $549 on sale, if you can believe it.

P.S. The Sonno team are behind the Ergoflex memory foam mattresses which are also worth checking out.
