Bondville 2014 favourite interiors, fashion and parties for kids

2014 was the year of the cool kid's room here at Bondville. You all loved the real room tours and kids' interiors products. Want to see the most popular?

Your favourite kids' room in 2014 was all about the colour - Georgia's pink, mint and gold bedroom by Little Dwellings.

Maisyn's lovely room by Maisy Dee came in at number 2 - very boho-cool:

And Ruby's room by Danielle Trovato came in at number 3 - as loved this year as it was last year (and the year before!). A little more restrained but with pops of colour with the Poppies For Grace honeycomb ball chandelier and grounded with the iconic Armadillo & Co. Marigold rug.

Your favourite posts overall? Bed linen was huge this year and it was great to uncover so many locally-designed options. And so many of you loved the decals by Petite Vintage Interiors to turn the IKEA Rast drawers into something very special. Many of you were also searching for gift ideas, and this local gift guide was a winner too:

Popular kids' party themes this year were mermaids, rainbows, fairies and Lego and in particular your favourite was Eden's 6th mermaid party. #2 was this sweet 3rd pink fairy princess party with the amazing castle cake, and #3 was our very own watermelon cake and birthday party:

In kids' fashion, there was much love for the boho look from Dollcake who make gorgeous dresses that are great for little flower girls. Being Sun Smart was also top of mind with requests for rashies for the while family, and so many of you continued to love the ultra-cool designs from Udder.

I guess you guys also love making things! The most popular DIY projects on Bondville this year were #1 - the Craft Schmaft hot air balloon DIY mobile kit, #2 - the 1000 origami paper cranes artwork, #3 - making Easter Hats and #4 -  our DIY bathroom makeover:

There was still lots of interest in the dip-dye trend and pineapple trend this year, and if you can believe it, tissue paper flowers are still hugely popular:

But my very favourite posts, which were popular (but towards the end of the year) were the pieces that took a little more time to prepare - my daughter's flexible study space, this tour of the new Incy Interiors store at Chatswood Chase in Sydney, our Sun Smart getaway to Avoca Beach, and the Christmas wishlist post that I collaborated on with seven of my favourite Australian bloggers:

Fun times! Thank you so much for reading and following along with Bondville in 2014 and I look forward to sharing with you many more amazing Australian designers for Mum, Kids and home in 2015.

Which were your favourites? Did you miss any of these? Subscribe to my monthly newsletter or receive an email every time I post if you want to keep your finger on the pulse. Happy New Year!
