Cloth Fabric bed linen

Celebrated Australian textile design label Cloth Fabric has just released four uniquely Australian bedlinen designs that I have completely fallen in love with.

Julie Paterson and her team have collaborated with Linen House, printing her instantly recognisable designs on unbleached linen cotton. This bed linen is meant to look just-off-the-line crumpled. No ironing required (love this).

My favourite aspect of Cloth Fabric textiles is that Julie's designs are truly Australian in feel with patterns and shapes reminiscent of the Australian landscape.

The 'looking for water' design echoes waterholes and boardwalk planks. 'Rose' is a throw-back to Julie's English heritage and the city-inspired 'spotcheck' design connects the dots of urban roads and roundabouts from above. The 'banksia' design (top) showcases our amazing (and underrated) native Banksia cones. Love May Gibbs as I do, I often wonder if  the Banksia Men characters have kept this amazing plant out of popular design for us. Thanks Julie for celebrating their unique shape in a contemporary way.

You can find Cloth Fabric bedlinen in the Cloth Fabric store in Surry Hillls, NSW, Myer around Australia and in the online store (opening soon). Or you can order online directly from Cloth Fabric.
